    Iron (Ferrous Gluconate) 30mg

Iron helps boost circulation and carries oxygen to your hair's roots, which helps the hair grow faster and longer. An iron deficiency can lead to hair loss.

    Biotin 5000mcg

Biotin is a B vitamin often recommended for hair health. Since biotin deficiency can lead to thinning of the hair, proponents claim that taking best biotin supplements—in pills, tablets, or capsules— can thicken hair and stimulate hair and nail growth.

    Niacin (as niacinamide) 30mg

Also known as vitamin B3, plays a crucial role in energy metabolism in the scalp and hair cells. Niacin is necessary to help facilitate new hair growth as it repairs existing hair damage through the dilation of the blood vessels. With Niacin the capillaries are widened which allows for better circulation of the blood to nourish the scalp and hair follicles, which in turn stimulates hair growth. It also minimizes the accumulation of cholesterol; when cholesterol builds up on the scalp, it is converted into an enzyme linked to a condition known as alopecia areata, the main culprit of hair loss in both men and women.

    Zinc (Zinc Oxide) 11mg

Zinc plays an important role in hair tissue growth and repair. It also helps keep the oil glands around the follicles working properly.
Hair loss is a common symptom of zinc deficiency.
Studies show zinc supplements reduce hair loss caused by zinc deficiency

Pantothenic Acid (as Calcium Pantothenate) 50mg

Pantothenic acid (B5 vitamin) prevents too early hair graying and can restore their natural color. It is also responsible for proper hair growth due to its part in cell division in hair follicle and gives hair proper moisture, has anti-inflammatory properties, protects, has moisturizing abilities, regulates functioning of sebum glands and accelerates melanin creating.

Vitamin A (as Vitamin A acetate) 5000 IU

All cells need vitamin A for growth. This includes hair, the fastest growing tissue in the human body.
Vitamin A also helps skin glands make an oily substance called sebum. Sebum moisturizes the scalp and helps keep hair healthy.
Diets deficient in vitamin A may lead to several problems, including hair loss.

Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) 60mg

Free radical damage can block growth and cause your hair to age.
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect against the oxidative stress caused by free radicals.
In addition, your body needs vitamin C to create a protein known as collagen — an important part of hair structure.
Vitamin C also helps your body absorb iron, a mineral necessary for hair growth.

Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine HCI) 26mg

Vitamin B6 is an important member of the Vitamin B-complex family, and it is actively involved in the protein metabolism in the body, since it acts as a catalyst. It activates the enzymes and chemical reactions that start the metabolism of the hair proteins, keratin and melanin, in the hair follicles. This makes the hair follicles get enough keratin and melanin, which promotes hair growth and hair renewal.

On the basis of clinical and trichological studies it was revealed that vitamin B6 administered parenterally for a period of several weeks induces improvement in the hair condition in a number of women and it reduces the hair loss especially in alopecia of telogenic patomechanism (Clinical Trial Wiad Lek. 2001;54(1-2):11-8.)

Vitamin E (as D-alpha Tocopheryl Succinate) 60 IU

Similar to vitamin C, vitamin E is an antioxidant that can prevent oxidative stress.
In one study, people with hair loss experienced a 34.5% increase in hair growth after supplementing with vitamin E for 8 months.
The placebo group had only a 0.1% increase.

    Saw palmetto (Serenoa repens)(fruit) 200mg

Saw palmetto is an alternative remedy used to treat hair loss. It’s a plant with small berries that has been used by Native Americans as medicine and food for hundreds of years. There’s evidence that this herbal remedy may treat an enlarged prostate. It also has been used to treat:

    • hair loss
    • bladder infections
    • prostate cancer
    • decreased sex drive

Research on whether saw palmetto works to treat hair loss is limited but promising. An extract of saw palmetto berries may block 5-alpha-reductase, an enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT. DHT is the molecule responsible for hair loss and also is involved in the enlargement of the prostate.

    Beta-Sitosterol 60mg

Beta-sitosterol is a naturally-occurring phytosterol. Studies show that beta-sitosterol can improve urologic symptoms in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH, or enlarged prostate). This has resulted in speculation that beta-sitosterol is also a potentially effective substance for blocking DHT and reducing hair loss in men.

    Horsetail Extract (Equisetum spp)(leaf) 60mg

Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) is a plant that has been used as an herbal remedy for centuries.
Historically, it was used as a diuretic to increase the frequency of urination. In recent years, it has developed a reputation as a hair care and hair loss remedy.
Although the evidence is primarily anecdotal, some scientific studies indicate horsetail may promote healthy hair based on its:

    • Silicon content
    • Impact on collagen
    • Antioxidant properties

Nettle Extract (Urtica dioica) (root), 60mg
(10:1 extract, equivalent to 600mg nettle root)

Stinging nettle is a plant. The root and above ground parts are used as medicine.

    • Nettle has anti-inflammatory properties

Inflammation of the scalp is responsible for chronic hair loss.

A study showed that chronic inflammation damages hair follicles. Nettle extract can reduce the levels of the main inflammatory agent called NF-kB and therefore reduce inflammation and promote healthy hair.

    • Nettle contains a lot of antioxidants

You might have heard about damaging and aging properties of free radicals. Cutting the long story short–free radicals are the molecules that are produced during various processes in the body, they can cause damage to DNA of cell follicles.
Nettle components such as polyphenols, flavonoids, vitamin A and C are natural antioxidants that have the ability to neutralize free radicals.

    • Nettles can have a potential to block DHT

DHT–dihydrotestosterone is a metabolite of main male hormone: testosterone. High levels of DHT have been linked to both male and female baldness.
Some research confirms that nettle extract (roots and leaves) has a potential to inhibit 5-alpha-reductase–the enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT and therefore blocks its production.

    Bamboo Extract 50% silica 30mg
    (bambusa spp.) (stem and shoot)

Bambusa vulgaris, or bamboo, is a fast-growing, self-generating natural resource that has been adapted into modern society for a variety of uses, including hair products such as shampoo, conditioner and masques. It has high silica content, which is an important trace mineral that encourages hair growth, helps to strengthen the hair and restores elasticity. Because most of us have silica deficiency, anyone and everyone can benefit from using bamboo products.

    Fo-Ti (Polygonum multiforum root) 60mg

Fo-ti is also known as Chinese climbing knotweed or “he shou wu,” which means “the black-haired Mr. He.” Its scientific name is Polygonum multiflorum.

Fo-ti has traditionally been used to treat patients suffering from baldness and hair loss throughout East Asia. In a study on mice, P. multiflorum extracts promoted hair growth by stimulating hair follicles.
Torachrysone-8-O-β-D-glucoside, a compound found in P. multiflorum, can significantly increase the number of dermal papilla cells which play a role in hair growth and hair fiber length.

Pygeum Bark Powder (Prunus Africana) (bark) 60mg

Extracted from the bark of the African cherry tree, pygeum africanum is a natural DHT blocker.

It’s well known as a potentially beneficial treatment for an enlarged prostate and prostatitis due to its DHT-blocking ability. Because of this, it’s also thought to be a possible treatment for DHT-related hair loss, too.

Kelp (Ascophyllum nodosum) (whole plant) 200mg

Sea kelp is algae, a type of brown seaweed that grows in the ocean. Kelp contains many of the essential nutrients to ensure hair growth. It’s high in iodine and a great source of iron, sodium, phosphorus and calcium and has a variety of vitamins, including A, B1, B2, C, D and E. Kelp also contains laminaria angustata, which is believed to thicken hair.

    Ginkgo Biloba (leaf) 50mg

Ginkgo biloba extract is collected from the dried green leaves of the plant and also available in liquid extracts, capsules and tablets.

Gingko’s properties as a vasodilator are thought to be able to help reduce hair loss, as the widening of blood vessels which supply hair follicles enables a better supply of nutrients, thus improving the follicles’ performance.

    Green Tea Extract 30mg
    (50% polyphenols, 15% EGCG, 30% catechins)

Tea leaves come from the plant Camellia sinensis. Depending on the processing method, tea leaves can produce green, black, white, or oolong tea
Green tea may support healthy hair growth and regrowth.
Many people who have used green tea to reverse their hair loss problems attribute the effects to the high levels of antioxidants. Other ways in which it could contribute to hair regrowth and prevention of hair loss are:

    • Improves circulation of hormones and improves blood flow.
    • Helps inhibit testosterone production and interferes with the conversion to DHT,
    • Contains a potent antioxidant called EGCG.

    Bioperine (Fruit Extract) 10mg

For those confused over the differences of Piperine vs. Bioperine, just know that Bioperine is Piperine’s trademarked name, so the two terms are often interchangeable.

Of the many Bioperine benefits offered, the one most talked about is its ability to increase the level of absorption of nutrients within your body. Sometimes referred to as “bioenhancement,” this ability means you get more out of other nutrients that you consume.
